In this policy, "You" and "your" refer to the client making payment and individual receiving educational services. "We" and "our" refer to the company.
We work to guide students to successfully meet their goals. For this reason, we continually improve our practice and implement feedback regularly. As we book a high number of hours throughout the year, the policy below allows us to give our best to students and parents.
Updates and Communication
We believe in open communication with parents during the learning process. We know that each parent has different expectations regarding communication. Therefore, anytime you need an update on your child's progress, please contact us by text or email, and we will be happy to update you. In addition, most lessons are complete on live documents that can be viewed by a parent at any time.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
When it comes to cancelling a session, we have a few rules to keep things fair for everyone. Any session can be rescheduled if at least 24-hour notice is given. When a session is cancelled, a make-up credit will be issued, which can be used to book an available time from the calendar in the parent portal. We do not offer refunds for cancelled sessions or allow this to push a billing date forward.
We understand that students have different needs, and this means different types of schedules. While most families commit to a month at a time, we also have the option of paying for one lesson at a time. This is well suited to short-term needs, like when guidance is needed for a single assignment and nothing else. Our monthly pricing is billed on the 1st of each month. Assessments are free, live, one-time sessions, and are limited to one per student. Free assessment sessions are reserved for clients looking for at least ten hours of tutoring. We reserve the right to cancel assessment sessions at our discretion.
We offer group sessions at a reduced hourly rate. Missed group sessions may not be rescheduled or refunded.
Editing and Feedback
We also provide editing services for companies and professionals as well as specialized feedback on student applications. Please feel free to ask about any of these services.
We never write papers for students or do their homework. We do write copy for companies and professionals.
Late Arrival and Absence
Please ensure your child arrives on time and is focused for each session. We are unable to make up or refund lost time due to student/client truancy or absence. We do our best to begin each session on time. If we miss a session, we will make arrangements to refund or rebook the lost time.
